Running cooper

#12 INmusic Festival was full of surprises this year. It was my first one but not the last for sure. I went there as a reporter for Public Figure, Montenegrian web portal that stays ahead with all important events and people. That wasn't my first trip as a reporter, but was my first as such a big event. INmusic Festival is a well know European and world open air festival as well as the biggest one in Croatia. It has received good reviews, rewards and nominations in several categories. There were some big names performing at INmusic like The Prodigy, Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Franz Ferdinand, Nick Cave and The Seeds, Rudimental, Moby, Lily Allen, Mando Diao, Billy Idol and many more.
INmusic Festival is being held at three islands in the middle of Jarun lake in Zagreb. The biggest island is reserved for festival, and two smaller for visitors campers. Last year, INmusic got replica of  Tesla's tower (the one that was built in NewYork and demolished 100 years ago) and that instantly became the trademark of it. Also Tesla's tower is having wonderful audio and video performance during the festival with hits that marked last century.

This years line up was extraordinary. Kings of Leon were the biggest headliners  this year and believe me they did a good job. They had the largest crowed ever at INmusic and with the performance they had, they definitely deserved it.

Running Cooper is one off the bands that gets lucky from time to time. Never the less, they definitely deserved to perform at INmusic.
Anna has an impeccable voice, but she is not the only one singing, they all do. Anna is a bass player and main vocal, Martin is the guitar player, Andreas is the drummer, and both of the guys are back vocals too. They met in the choir.
While Martin was attending music school he decided to take a break, got back to his hometown and they all decided to start a band.
That was great decision! Even if they have only perfored just for almost two years, they have the talent that could make them big one day. And with their young ambitious manager I believe they will really get there.
Running Cooper plays rock with a hint off 70's blues, have a few singles and EP, and now they are working on even more songs and videos.

So, far from cold Sweden, they came to Croatia, and performed on main stage on the very first day. I would be lying if I would say they weren't nervous. They liked INmusic and INmusic liked them back. The crowed I talked to was as nicely surprised as I was.
Running Cooper is the type of band you can sit down and talk to for hours, they are outgoing, funny and full of stories. Even though they had some fears, their little adventure came up as a really good thing. They have a wish to come back to Croatia again.

This was their biggest trip and biggest festival they ever performed at, and I wish them many many more cause they are talented young people that make good music and have a lot more to show.

I believe, performing on INmusic will bring them even more fans and even more performances. Such a big talent shouldn't be wasted for nothing.
Even if they won't come back to Croatia, I'm sure I'll see them on next BedemFest cause they are already invited.
